Materials and tools for the Ol’ Sarge Cigar Stand

Ol’ Sarge cigar stand is carved from solid hornbeam wood. I think only this wood can withstand its harsh nature 🙂 The tools, as usual, are a drill with cutters, chisels, and files for cleanliness of work. By the way, the element of his hat, the gold cord, is a real cord; I painted it gold and glued it to the hat. It looks very realistic and harmonious. To paint his hat, I used green stain. At the end of the work with wooden Ol’ Sarge, after covering it with oil, I polished it well.
