The King’s Smoke: Lion Smoking Pipe

The lion smoking pipe has been carved by me several times. First time in 2023, then in 2025. You can see a little evolution of the carved lion pipes. I improved the fur, the facial detailing, and added more art and classic sculpting. With each new work, I try to increase the level of wood carving and detail. I was inspired by medieval carved lion sculptures from stone, a modern works. But the expression of the face remains the same. The serenity and wisdom of the lye’s eyes. The certainty that you are indeed the king of the jungle and occupy your throne with dignity. The stem has also been changed to a more classic shape, no more blood and torn flesh. Tranquility and wisdom personify the lion smoking pipe, a unique gift for real connoisseurs of unique art.

Material and Tools for Lion Tobacco Pipe

This time, I used more than just a drill with lots of milling cutters and diamond burrs to create the lion tobacco pipe. I also used files and chisels with more straight and even shapes. Lion pipe, like all my other pipes, is made of the best Italian briar. It is not only heat resistant and ideal for smoking, but also has a beautiful structure with the ability to carved fine details. I coated the lion pipe with different stains using an airbrush, then oil, and finally polishing.

Stages of Creating a Wooden Lion:

• Discussing the project with the buyer to understand their requirements.

• The pipe sketch is drawn taking into account the buyer’s wishes.
• A test clay sculpture is sculpted if deemed necessary.
• Carving a wooden lion
• The finished photos are sent to the customer, and the remaining payment is received.
• The pipe is shipped internationally by DHL.
